DX Jungle Companion is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge. It connects DX Jungle to FLRig on your own computer.

DX Jungle can use your callsign, grid and radio frequency. SatTrack can follow your radio through FLRig. The DX Cluster can send a frequency directly to your radio.

Download version 0.3.6. Extract the ZIP file first. You must use the extracted folder, not the ZIP file itself.

Install in Chrome

  1. Download the ZIP file.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract all.
  3. Open Chrome.
  4. Type this at the top: chrome://extensions
  5. Turn on Developer mode in the top right.
  6. Click Load unpacked.
  7. Select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json.

Install in Edge

  1. Download the ZIP file.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract all.
  3. Open Edge.
  4. Type this at the top: edge://extensions
  5. Turn on Developer mode on the left.
  6. Click Load unpacked.
  7. Select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json.

After that

  1. Start FLRig.
  2. Check that FLRig can see your radio.
  3. Click the DX Jungle Companion icon in the browser.
  4. Check IP 127.0.0.1 and port 12345.
  5. Enter your callsign and grid.
  6. Open DX Jungle.
Note: this is a test version. Use low power, check your radio yourself, and stay responsible for frequency, mode, split, tone code and PTT.
