DX Jungle Plugin / RigBridge Companion is a desktop browser extension for connecting DXJungle.nl with local radio software such as FLRig and supported WebSDR services.

With FLRig, you can fully use SatTracker, DX Cluster and other DX Jungle live tools for rig control, tuning and Doppler support. The Companion currently needs only your FLRig IP/host and port. Other backends are experimental.

Choose your desktop browser. Firefox is available now. Chrome support is coming soon.

The Companion is intended for desktop browsers. Firefox installs directly from the Mozilla-signed XPI hosted by DXJungle.nl.

Install in Firefox

  1. Open this page in Firefox on a desktop computer.
  2. Click Install for Firefox.
  3. Firefox opens the Mozilla-signed XPI file hosted by DXJungle.nl.
  4. Confirm the installation in Firefox.
  5. Open DX Jungle and click the Companion icon.

After that

  1. Start FLRig.
  2. Check that FLRig can see your radio.
  3. Click the DX Jungle Companion icon in the browser.
  4. Check FLRig host/IP 127.0.0.1 and port 12345, or enter your own local FLRig host.
  5. Open DX Jungle and use SatTracker, DX Cluster and other radio tools.
Note: use radio-control features carefully. You remain responsible for frequency, mode, split, tone code, PTT and the rules that apply to your station.
